Maulee Foundation makes grants exclusively to registered charities in England and Wales. Every pound we raise is directed to funding charitable programmes that relieve poverty, support individuals in need, or advance education for disadvantaged people. We do not retain funds for operational purposes, our operational costs are met separately, allowing grant funds to be applied directly to charitable purposes.
We assess every grant application against published criteria, including fit with our charitable objects, evidence of need, public benefit, safeguarding arrangements, and governance quality. Grants are approved collectively by the trustee board and subject to written grant conditions and outcome reporting.
Our grant-making focuses on people and communities in England and Wales experiencing poverty, financial hardship, disability, or other disadvantage. We fund charities delivering evidence-based programmes with demonstrable impact for those most in need.
Accountability is central to how we operate. Our financial records are maintained to the highest standard, our trustees act in the best interests of the charity's purposes, and our conflict of interest policy ensures that all decisions are made independently and in the public interest.
All charities we fund that work with children or vulnerable adults are required to have robust safeguarding policies and procedures in place as a condition of any grant. We take safeguarding seriously and monitor compliance throughout the grant lifecycle.
Maulee Foundation's operational costs are currently met by Baseel Partners LLP. This arrangement is subject to the charity's conflict of interest policy and is overseen exclusively by the charity's independent trustees.
